Epilepsy12 Youth Advocates

The Epilepsy 12 Youth Advocates are a group of children and young people who help make hospital care better for young people with epilepsy. They work with doctors and nurses to share their ideas about what really matters to them. The group helps create helpful resources, gives feedback for reports, and even talks at big meetings with health professionals.

Recently, the youth advocates started a special award called the E12 Youth Legacy Award. This award celebrates people or groups who do amazing things to help young people with epilepsy.

Anyone who has epilepsy, knows someone with epilepsy, or just wants to help, can join if they are 11 to 24 years old. We meet online every 8 weeks and sometimes meet up in person too.
